International Community School in Baghdad offers an American curriculum within a multinational community. The High School Diploma follows the AERO Common Core Plus standards, delivered through interdisciplinary, project based units across English, Science, Humanities, Math, Programming, Robotics, World Languages, Physical Education and Arts. The Elementary program is aligned with AERO Common Core Plus and covers Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, Music and Art, with SHAPE standards for Physical Education and ISTE standards for technology integration. Graduation requires at least 27 credits across disciplines and electives; English proficiency exams (TOEFL/IELTS) and SAT are required, and a Grade 12 Graduation Project is completed. The school maintains International Exchange Partnership with Rutgers Prep, Arabic Day and Cultural Fair. Enrichment includes Math Olympiads and Exhibitions, Art Exhibitions, and a range of student leadership, service, and community engagement opportunities.
