International Bilingual Schools of Africa (IBSA) operates multiple campuses in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, offering PreK–12 education. The school teaches a bilingual curriculum in English and French with immersion from age 2, and Mandarin is introduced in Grade 6. Students develop foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and science through active, project‑based learning in both languages. Examinations include GCSE and SAT. IBSA provides Bespoke, British and French curriculum pathways and culminates in the IBSA Diploma Initiative & Innovation. In high school, students choose from three bilingual pathways: English with Advanced French, French-speaking with Advanced English, or a dual-language track. The network emphasizes real‑world preparation through internships, the Young Professionals program, and the Pépinière incubators for business and social entrepreneurship. STEM/STEAM projects, mentoring, and pre‑employment coaching support university and career pathways, including sandwich courses and work‑study options. Daily silent reading supports language development and literacy across IBSA campuses.
