DSTY runs a cocurricular program (Cocu) that extends the day with after-school activities coordinated by a dedicated Cocu team, and it runs a two-week summer camp during the last two full weeks of the summer. In Grundschule, the Hort provides supervision until 16:25, with access to the library and outdoor facilities such as the climbing wall, playground, and football and basketball fields for study and recreation. The on-site library hosts AGs like Lesescout (reading scouts), a Schülerzeitung (student newspaper), and a Vorlese-AG (reading aloud), which develop literacy, research, journalism, and project skills.
