The language of instruction is German, and the school offers Japanese learning for both native speakers and students learning Japanese as a foreign language. English and French are also part of the programme, and students can earn the Latinum. Beyond lessons, DSTY runs a coordinated cocurricular afternoon programme (open all-day school) with care options and activities, as well as sports teams in football, volleyball and basketball.
