- First-term payment must be made by credit card; subsequent term payments are collected by GIRO (auto‑debit from a Japanese bank account). GIRO registration is completed with the Finance Department using the Japanese bank cash card. The school uses the myGIIS payment gateway and prefers GIRO for recurring payments. Cheque, cash, debit and credit card payments are accepted at campus at certain times.

Standard sibling policy indicates a 25% discount on tuition for additional children (details and eligibility are listed under the school's fee policy). The sibling discount does not apply to shuttle services. Specific sibling discount rules for bus fees are published in the fee structure.

Refunds and withdrawal policy
- Withdrawal requires submission of the online withdrawal form (parent portal). One month's written notice is required; refund rules on withdrawal apply only if the notice is given at least one month in advance. If notice is given after the invoice for the next month has been generated, the whole month's fee will be payable. There is no 15‑day refund; refunds are considered on a monthly basis in accordance with the published withdrawal policy. Books and uniform purchases have an exchange period of one day only; thereafter no refund or exchange is possible.

Fee payment options (accepted methods and gateway)
- Initial (first term) payment: Credit card. Subsequent term payments: GIRO (auto‑debit from a Japanese bank account). The school's published payment gateway is myGIIS. The school prefers GIRO for recurring payments; parents register a Japanese bank cash card with the Finance Department for auto‑debit. Cheques, cash, debit and credit cards are accepted at times as noted in published payment guidance.

(All amounts are shown in Japanese Yen and reflect the school's published fee schedule for the Seishincho / Global Montessori Programme. Figures for term and optional services are taken from the campus fee structure.)

GIIS highlights GMP’s “5 pillars,” including the Excelerate Programme, Multi-faceted Learning, iPlay Programme, iCare Programme and a Future Ready Programme. For admissions planning, GIIS publishes a Tokyo fees page that includes the GMP fee structure and notes that each academic year consists of four terms.
