Academic and Intellectual

GIIS Tokyo offers a broad range of after-school programmes and ECAs that extend academic inquiry beyond the classroom. The school hosts Model United Nations conferences, enabling research, debate, and collaboration across students. Arts and Creative

The Seishincho Campus hosted Summer School 2022 with painting, arts and crafts, STEM, and dance. A Fancy Dress Competition in 2022 at Seishincho demonstrated student creativity and performance.

GIIS Tokyo hosts Model United Nations conferences, fostering cross-cultural understanding and international collaboration. Origami and other culturally diverse activities such as Bharatanatyam and tabla reflect Japanese and Indian cultural elements. GIIS Tokyo’s Seishincho campus is a preschool campus in Edogawa-ku, described as being located along the Arakawa River side in Seishincho. The campus delivers the Global Montessori Plus (GMP) programme, which GIIS describes as combining Montessori education with “digital-era methods,” and it is offered at Seishincho and Kitakasai. GIIS highlights GMP’s “5 pillars,” including the Excelerate Programme, Multi-faceted Learning, iPlay Programme, iCare Programme and a Future Ready Programme.
