Application / First‑time registration fees
- First‑time admission fee (droit de première inscription): Japanese residents of French nationality: JPY 380,000. Non‑French pupils: JPY 600,000. These admission fees are payable at final registration and are not refundable.
Tuition fees (annual and per‑term) — academic year 2026–2027 (amounts in Japanese yen)
Note: the school applies different annual rates depending on the pupil's nationality/category and on the programme/section (maternelle, primaire, collège, lycée, strengthened language tracks and international sections). Amounts below show annual total followed by the three term instalments (1st term 40% / 2nd term 30% / 3rd term 30%).

Transport, catering and ancillary fees

- Canteen fees are billed as general charges under the same trimester split; canteen subscription is annual and invoices are issued each trimester. A medical absence of more than five classroom days may justify a canteen rebate on presentation of a medical certificate.
Examination, activities and childcare fees
- Examination fees (charged in the September–December billing period): DNB (collège) JPY 5,000; EA (second year of lycée) JPY 10,000; BAC JPY 40,000 (same amount for external BAC candidates).
- Sports activities (collège/lycée): competitive club JPY 20,000 per club per year; recreational sports JPY 5,000 per club per year.
- Extracurricular activities (annual contract, 30 lessons nominally): JPY 66,000 per activity per year (French scholarship recipients receive a 34% reduction).
- Holiday day‑care: JPY 6,000 per day.
- Aftercare / garde périscolaire (examples): morning 7:30–8:30 JPY 500 per session; afternoon sessions and extended hours vary (e.g., 15:30–18:00 JPY 1,500; Wednesday full‑day/half‑day options have specific per‑session rates). These services are billed as indicated in the school's fee table and by period.
Discounts, scholarships and reductions
- A sibling reduction is applied from the second child enrolled; this reduction is granted per quarter (per trimester) on tuition fees.
- French nationals may apply for AEFE consular scholarship support through the French consulate; scholarship awards affect invoicing according to the school's procedures.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition, canteen and bus fees are invoiced in three periods: Sept–Dec (40% of annual fee), Jan–Mar (30%), Apr–Jun (30%). Invoices are payable within 21 days of receipt. Any month begun is due in full; arrival or departure during a month does not prorate that month. No fees are reduced for temporary service interruption or pupil absence (except the limited canteen medical rebate noted above). Re‑enrolment fees are invoiced in the April–June period. Examination fees are invoiced in September–December.
Refunds and non‑refundability
- First‑time admission fees and re‑enrolment fees are not refundable. Examination fees are non‑refundable once the school has submitted exam registrations to the relevant rectorat. Generally, monthly or term fees already invoiced are not refunded except in specific, limited cases (for example, canteen rebate for medical absence exceeding five classroom days with a medical certificate). Non‑payment may lead to suspension of non‑mandatory services (demi‑pension, périscolaire) and, ultimately, radiating the pupil and legal proceedings if invoices remain unpaid.
Boarding (internat)
- No boarding/internat fees are listed in the school's 2026–2027 tariff schedule. The school's published fee schedule shows day‑school charges only. Therefore boarding is not applicable.
Fee payment options and bank details
- Invoicing is denominated in Japanese yen. Standard accepted payment methods: bank transfer in yen (domestic Japanese bank account) and bank transfer in euros (European bank coordinates provided). Cash payments are accepted by appointment only and only outside school holidays and the lunch break. Bank transfer is the standard recommended method; bank details are provided for both the Mizuho Bank (Tokyo) yen account and La Banque Postale (France) euro account. Families cover any bank charges. Installment schedules and exceptional arrangements for payment difficulties can be discussed with the school's accounting service.
Other practical notes on billing
- All invoices list the amounts by trimester and by service; families access billing history through their assigned parent account. Companies may participate in a contribution plan under specific conditions and different invoicing rules. Any change (transport, canteen, activities) must be notified before the start of the relevant billing trimester.
