Application & one-time fees
- Preschool / Sendagi campus: Enrollment fee (one-time) JPY 90,000. Material fee (annual) JPY 20,000. Extended-care ticket set (5 hours) JPY 5,000. Lunch is included in tuition.
- Elementary (Grades 1–6): Application fee (one-time) JPY 20,000. Enrollment fee (one-time) JPY 180,000. Material fee (annual) JPY 40,000. School Growth Fund (annual) JPY 50,000. Lunch is included in tuition.
- Afterschool / specialty programs: Separate one-time enrollment fees apply for some programs (examples: afternoon program enrollment JPY 30,000; Saturday program enrollment JPY 20,000). Annual homework-app fee examples: JPY 10,000 where applicable.

- English Support (afternoon program for Elementary, 15:00–16:00) — monthly examples:

Afterschool & extra programs (examples of common costs)
- Afterschool monthly fees are charged for each activity (examples): English Club monthly JPY 18,300 (1x/week), JPY 30,500 (2x/week), JPY 40,260 (3x/week). Judo Club monthly JPY 17,300. Makerspace/Design‑thinking club examples JPY 22,250 (1x/week) or JPY 37,080 (2x/week). Afterschool monthly tuition is calculated on a yearly average and charged monthly (paid 12 months per year).
- Bus service for afterschool / monthly rate examples (per month): 2 days/week JPY 12,320; 3 days/week JPY 16,360; 4 days/week JPY 19,712; 5 days/week JPY 22,000. (Bus not available for some 1‑hour English classes; minimum 2 days/week required.)
- Summer program (Preschool example): Main course (9:00–14:00) 5 days/week JPY 55,000 per week (tax excluded); Extended course (9:00–18:00) 5 days/week JPY 65,000 per week (tax excluded).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- The school operates on a three‑term academic calendar: 1st term Sep–Dec, 2nd term Jan–Mar, 3rd term Apr–Jul. Tuition is quoted per term with an annual total; some programs (afterschool) are invoiced monthly on a yearly average and charged across 12 months.
- Invoices are issued during the admissions/enrollment process: an application or demo step is followed by issuance of an enrollment invoice upon acceptance; payment of the enrollment invoice finalizes admission. Enrollment invoices are to be paid by bank transfer.
- Tuition and bus fees are shown excluding Japan consumption tax (10%); consumption tax is added where applicable. Paid fees are non‑refundable. Smaller one‑off charges (for excursions, special events, etc.) may be billed as they occur.
Boarding
- Boarding is not offered. MEES operates as day preschool and elementary programs; no boarding or residential fees apply.
Other costs & notes
- Uniform fees: No specific uniform fee is listed in the published fee schedules. Materials and lunch are addressed in the material fee and included in tuition where indicated.
- Refunds and withdrawal: Paid fees are non‑refundable as stated in the published fee information. Specific refund or withdrawal notice terms (for example, notice period required to avoid further charges) are handled as part of enrollment billing and invoicing.
Fee payment options
- Enrollment invoices and school invoices are issued and are to be paid by bank transfer. Payment of the enrollment invoice completes the admission process. No other explicit payment methods (credit card, cash, etc.) are specified in the published admissions instructions.
