Musashi International School Tokyo (MIST) was founded in 2002 as Little Angels International School (LAIS) by Jeevarani Angelina in Mitaka, Tokyo. The kindergarten opened in 2004, and the school later expanded to include Cambridge-accredited middle and high school tracks. In January 2021 the school renamed itself Musashi International School Tokyo (MIST) and continued offering its Cambridge-based curriculum. In September 2023, MIST merged a portion of its Mitaka campus with the Aoba-Japan Bilingual Preschool Mitaka Campus to operate as the A-JB International School Bridge Course on the second floor of the A-JB Mitaka site, creating a pathway for MIST students into Cambridge Primary and beyond. Cambridge-accredited programs for Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary, and A Levels remain in place.
MIST serves a diverse international student body with English-language instruction from Kindergarten through High School. The Middle School includes a Community Service class that engages students in local initiatives. Musashi International School Tokyo (MIST) is an English-medium school in Mitaka-shi, Tokyo, serving students from Kindergarten to Year 13.
