Phoenix House International School was established in 2021 as Tokyo's British Prep School, offering England's National Curriculum to children aged 5 to 11 and located in central Tokyo. The school operates as an independent prep school under Clarence Education Asia Limited, the organization behind its Tokyo campus. It was awarded COBIS Beacon Status for Safeguarding and Student Welfare, becoming the first school in Japan to receive Beacon Status. Phoenix House's community is organized around four Houses—Snowdon, Rothesay, Windsor and Oak—promoting collaboration across age levels and leadership through House Captains; a House Cup is awarded on Speech Day.
