Boarding Arrangements

UIA International School of Tokyo does not offer boarding or homestay options. It is not a boarding school. The school operates a bus service for student transport, with parents required to be at bus stops for pick-up and drop-off, including Early Years. There is no on-site housing or dormitory.

Uniform Requirement

UIA does not require a school uniform; there is a dress code for all students.

Food Options

The school does not provide school lunches; students are asked to bring their own lunch box. After-care includes an afternoon snack.

House System

UIA uses a four-house system: Genbu, Seiryuu, Suzaku, and Byakko. Students are sorted into a house during admissions and remain in that house for the duration of their time at UIA. Houses participate in events and activities such as monthly house meetings, team-building, interdivisional activities, charity drives, and Sports Day.

Governance and Ownership

UIA is governed within a formal structure led by a President/CEO; the current President/CEO is Mr. Kazumasa Sugita, and the principal, Mr. Taylor, has clearly defined operational leadership. The school is managed by UIA INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd., the company that oversees UIA's governance and operations.

UIA International School of Tokyo is an English-medium Cambridge International School serving students from Early Years through Grade 12 (ages 3–18) in the Kiba district of Tokyo, Japan. The school follows the Cambridge Pathway, offering Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE and AS & A-Level qualifications. Located in a residential area about 10 minutes from downtown Tokyo and within walking distance of Kiba Station, it provides accessible urban schooling. UIA’s campus supports a range of extracurricular activities from Japanese Culture and STEM clubs to Model United Nations and sports through ISTAA. Students engage in weekly activity sessions and can take languages such as Japanese, French and Hindi. The school also offers a bus service for student transport.
