Alliance Academy Jordan is an international Christian school located in the Yadoudeh area on the southern outskirts of Amman. It was established in 2014 and began in a brand-new facility with spacious classrooms and modern technology. The school is co-educational and inclusive, accommodating students with disabilities and varied learning needs. It is owned by the Christian Alliance Church of Jordan. In 2024, AAJ celebrated its tenth anniversary and the graduation of its first class.
AAJ builds a connected school community through a broad range of student-life activities. Extracurriculars include AAJ Talks, inspired by TED Talks, and AAJ Got Talent, a platform to showcase students' talents. The program includes community service and volunteering, such as visiting orphanages and homes for the elderly, organizing bake sales, collecting funds for the less fortunate, and the annual Walk for Life with the King Hussein Cancer Center. Cultural celebrations promote awareness of different cultures, with events such as International Mother Tongue Day, Arab Child Day, International Child Day, Autism Awareness Day, and Chinese Day, and there are excursions to sites like Ajloun and Wadi Rum.
AAJ does not advertise a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) on its site; parent involvement is described through volunteer opportunities and donation/sponsorship programs. The Contribute section lists ways to support AAJ, including donating, sponsoring a project, supporting the financial aid fund, and volunteering one's time and talents (e.g., teaching, clubs, activities, languages, or other skills). Parents are invited to share their time and talents through these channels. Family involvement is visible in the AAJ Choir, which engages families, students, and teachers in performances, and in community events such as the annual Walk for Life organized with the King Hussein Cancer Center. Fundraising and sponsorship efforts include supporting classroom enhancements, technology upgrades, and the financial aid fund, all coordinated through the Contribute page.
