Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The Support Department provides Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs to cultivate empathy, resilience, positive relationships, responsible decision-making, and effective emotion management, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialists including Special Education Teachers, Early Intervention Specialists, Learning Aides, Occupational Therapists, and Speech & Language Therapists.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

AAJ operates as an inclusive school with Learning without Barriers, offering Assessment & Diagnosis, Counseling Services, Academic Support & IEPs, and Early Intervention Programs; a multidisciplinary team including Special Education Teachers, Early Intervention Specialists, Learning Aides, Occupational Therapists, and Speech & Language Therapists delivers these supports.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Academic Support & IEPs include tailored strategies to help non-native language learners achieve success, indicating targeted EAL support within the school's SEN framework.

Mental Wellbeing

Alliance Academy Jordan (AAJ) is a co-educational, inclusive international school established in 2014 on the outskirts of Amman. Catering to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, the academy offers a dual-track academic system where students can choose between the British program (Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels) or the American High School Diploma (AHSD) starting in high school. The curriculum is enriched with diverse subjects including Robotics, Chinese, and a unique "Values to Grow" program designed to foster character and leadership.
