King's Academy offers boarding for students in grades 7 through 12. Boarding uses single-gender housing, with male and female students living in separate dormitories on campus. Dormitories include on-site faculty apartments as part of the residential setup. Boarders eat in the Hess Family Dining Hall, and weekends include supervised activities and trips.
The school requires a uniform. The uniform consists of a blazer, tie, and sweater, and this uniform is included with tuition.
Meals are served in the Hess Family Dining Hall, a central on-campus dining facility. Dining occurs three times a day in a family-style setting, with round tables that seat eight and a rotating system for who waits on tables. Menus may vary based on ingredient availability.
King's Academy uses a residential house system. Students are assigned to houses, which organize house-based activities and events; house weekends are held for day students, and inter-house competitions are part of the school calendar (e.g., Madaba Games).
The school is governed by a Board of Trustees.
