Whitman Academy is led by a Head of School (Mr. Dan Nichols). The school was founded by Roy and Dora Whitman. It is licensed by the Jordanian Ministry of Education as a school for foreign students. It holds international accreditation and partners with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and an additional international accreditation body. Whitman Academy is a licensed international Christian school in Amman, Jordan, serving students in grades 1–12. The school operates as a day program and is led by Head of School Dan Nichols. The campus is located in a quiet West Amman neighborhood and began in 1994, founded by expatriate families and an experienced American teacher. The school offers English-language instruction and provides an American-style college-preparatory program, including AP courses and SAT testing, with graduates pursuing studies in the USA, Korea, Europe, and Australia. The student body is about 239 pupils from over 22 countries, in small classes that emphasize personalized learning, character formation, and servant leadership.
