Meals are served on school days with breakfast, lunch and snacks. Food is freshly prepared in the kitchen on school premises. Meals are prepared under the supervision of the school nurse to meet the standards of the Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan. The meals are provided by a contracted catering company, with parents choosing to arrange contracts with the company if they wish their children to eat at school. The weekly menu is posted on relevant notice boards at the school.
The school offers a range of diverse extra-curricular activities after school. Many clubs are run by external providers. The clubs typically include: Dance, Art, Handcraft, Football, Basketball, Chess, Piano, Dombyra, and Choir. The timetable changes termly and new clubs can arise mid-term, with information provided to parents and students. At the end of the school year, an annual club fest showcases students' works and talents.
Galaxy International School provides education for ages 5 to 18, offering Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS and A Levels, alongside the Kazakh national curriculum and optional Modern Foreign Languages.
