Haileybury Almaty occupies purpose-built accommodation in the centre of Almaty. It includes outdoor learning facilities for the youngest pupils and extensive recreational space for senior and junior pupils. Toilet and washing facilities are provided, including for disabled pupils, and there is a medical room on site. The buildings are designed to be earthquake-resilient and are maintained to safeguard health, safety and welfare.
Facilities at Haileybury Almaty include a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym and a sports hall. There are dedicated dance, performing arts and music studios. Co-curricular sports coaching and clubs support a wide range of sporting activities.
Senior School follows IGCSE programmes in Years 10–11 and A-Levels in Years 12–13. There is a Maker Space and Robotics Lab with 3D printers and other tools to support STEAM learning and engineering design. There are dedicated Performing Arts spaces including a Theatre, practice rooms, a Recording Studio, a Performing Arts Suite and Music teaching rooms.
Co-Curricular Activities include sports coaching and clubs offering opportunities to try new activities. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is delivered at Haileybury Almaty, and Haileybury Almaty is the largest provider of the Award in Central Asia. Performing arts productions are a feature, with access to a Theatre and music/drama facilities, and there is a Maker Space and Robotics Lab to support STEAM projects.
Haileybury Almaty is a British international school serving students aged 4 to 18 in central Almaty. The school follows Cambridge IGCSE in Years 10–11 and Cambridge A Levels in Years 12–13, preparing pupils for university study both abroad and in Kazakhstan. Founded in 2008 in association with Haileybury in the United Kingdom, it is a not-for-profit educational project inspired by Kazakhstani philanthropists.
