Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school maintains a student welfare team (Elevhälsa) consisting of the principal, the school nurse, and a counselor. The team meets several times a month to identify needs and to design adjustments and supportive measures for students.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The student welfare team identifies needs and designs adjustments and support for students, providing ongoing assistance through the school's welfare framework.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Teaching is conducted mainly in Swedish, while English is reinforced so that students become confident in both languages.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental wellbeing is supported by the Elevhälsa team, with the school nurse and counselor providing access to care; the nurse is primarily available for boarding students but also assists other students in acute situations, and the team meets regularly to plan appropriate support.

Safeguarding

Boarding rules emphasize safety and wellbeing; the school collaborates with security companies and embassies, and there are documented rules for living on campus that reflect safety considerations and respectful conduct.
