The Netherlands School Society is a bilingual day school for children aged 1½ to 12 years. A school bus service is available.
Treats, lunch and snacks: Children typically receive treats on birthdays and when leaving school. We prefer healthy snacks and lunches; please avoid packing sweets such as candy, chips, donuts, and chocolate, and provide a healthy alternative.

The Netherlands School Society Nairobi is a Dutch bilingual pre- and primary school. It combines the Dutch curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in a small-class setting that tailors learning to each child. With about 15 nationalities, the school operates as a national-international school, embedding a Dutch education model in an international environment. The IPC units provide a broad, thematic program across History, Geography, Science, Technology, ICT, Music and Art, fostering participation and an international perspective. English is the main language of instruction in Milepost 2 and Milepost 3, while Dutch supports language development in earlier years. The school offers a green campus, parental involvement, and social gatherings. The library hosts Dutch and English titles, with annual new books and Dutch Child Book Week. Portfolios document student progress across IPC, literacy in Dutch and English, and Mathematics, using an assessment for learning approach. A seamless path to further study.
