Parent Experience

History
The Indian Community School Kuwait began in 1959 as Indian School Kuwait (ISK) in Nugra with 22 students. It moved to Hawally in 1960, then to Istiqlal Street, and in May 1969 opened its Mangaf-Fahaheel branch. In 1970 it moved to a new building in Salmiya and in 1972 the first AISSE batch appeared for the All India Higher Secondary Examination; in 1975 the school adopted the 10 plus 2 plus 3 pattern and in 1976 started the afternoon shift. After the invasion, the name changed to Indian Community School Kuwait and the Junior branch in Salmiya is part of this network. In 2012 senior secondary wings were merged at ICSK Senior, and in 2016 a new Board of Trustees led innovations such as an electronic library and career-oriented events.
