Uniform Requirement

The school uses a prescribed uniform for all students. In summer, boys wear navy blue trousers (low waist pants not permitted), white full-sleeved monogrammed shirt, navy blue tie, and black shoes with straps (up to Class 6) or laces (Class 7 and upwards); girls wear a navy blue monogrammed pinafore, white full-sleeved blouse, navy blue tie, black shoes, white calf-length socks, and hair ribbons or bands. In winter, navy blue blazers must be worn by both boys and girls.

House System

The school has a House System to foster team spirit and corporate life. The four houses are Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red, named after the primary colours of the spectrum, each with mottos Peace, Hope, Charity, and Joy. Criteria: Lower Kindergarten requires completion of 3 years by 15 March (siblings have first-preference for LKG); UKG requires completion of 4 years by 15 March; Class 1 requires completion of 5 years by 15 March; admissions to all classes depend on seat availability; for UKG and above, admission is based on an entrance test; students coming from other schools must submit a Transfer Certificate. Fee Structure: tuition is paid in three installments (Term I by 15 April; Term II by 15 September; Term III by 15 December). New admissions pay an admission fee of KD 20 along with the first term fees. Promotions: promotion is based on performance in tests and examinations; if a student misses a test/exam on genuine grounds, a decision for promotion may be made at the time of promotion; a student who fails to appear in the annual examination will not be promoted; a student who fails twice in the same class will have to discontinue schooling; the school's decision on promotion and detention is final. Withdrawal: for withdrawal in April, a Transfer Certificate application must be submitted by 15 January; a Transfer Certificate for India should be countersigned by the Indian Embassy; the Transfer Certificate will be issued only after declaration of results; for withdrawal at other times, the application should be submitted to the Principal at least a fortnight prior to leaving; the Transfer Certificate will be issued only after all dues are paid and any borrowed school property is returned.
