RTU ISST is located on the Riga Technical University Campus in Ķīpsala, Āzenes Street 12, sharing facilities with RTU Engineering High School. Chemistry lab offers equipment for basic experiments through advanced research, including a fume hood, exhaust systems, cooling units, distillation tools, and specialized filtration equipment; analytical instruments include ion-selective and pH sensors, a spectrophotometer, precision scales, and an automated titrator. Physics lab is equipped for hands-on learning with a full digital sensor range for force, current, oscillations, magnetic field, and pressure. A Virtual Reality Lab enables creation of 3D environments with applications in shopping, art, architecture, sports, and robotics. The campus also features 3D printing capabilities and provides access to RTU resources through the RTU partnership.
Afterschool activities include a Virtual Reality club, Higher Mathematics club, Electronic Vehicle prototyping for energy-efficiency competitions, Biology club 'Young researcher', a physics and IT club, Olympiad Mathematics, and a mixed choir. Students can participate in RTU student clubs and art collectives, join RTU labs for internships, and take part in study trips such as CERN visits in Geneva, Switzerland (study trips in 2024/2025; costs not included in tuition).
