Chess club develops logical thinking, memory and attention and is offered from CP class (children aged 6 and up). The club is led by Aivars Kazoks. Cambridge exam preparation supports levels from A1 to C1 and is available for CE2 to high school. Robotique introduces 3–5-year-olds to creative thinking and basic engineering concepts, moving from 2D drawing to a physical 3D environment.
Handicrafts develop motor skills and creative expression through weaving, embroidery, collage and knitting, led by Velga Lukaza. Ballroom dancing provides social, physical and emotional benefits and is taught by Juris Arājs; it is open to children aged 6 to 9 (CP–CE2) twice weekly. The Choir invites children to participate in Latvia's Song and Dance Celebrations and is taught by Perrine Madoeuf. Shadow Theatre and Magic Puppet Theatre teach storytelling and performance, led by Karina Falkenstein.
English for Preschool offers English language learning through an 18-module fairy-tale based program developed with Riga's first language school; lessons take place twice per week and last 25 minutes. Online training materials are included to continue learning at home. Cambridge exam preparation supports levels from A1 to C1 for CE2 through high school and is led by Eric Espenon. The Russian language club is for CP to CM students with native-speaking teachers; teacher is Zanna Mironova.
Sports activities include team sports such as football, basketball, volleyball and handball and individual sports like athletics, tennis and badminton, aimed at developing physical fitness and self-confidence; led by Dāvids Gailītis. Mindfulness for children develops attention, emotional regulation, empathy and resilience (program currently suspended). Shadow Theatre and Magic Puppet Theatre, along with dance and theatre clubs, provide opportunities for social interaction and creative expression.
Sports activities promote physical health and well-being; swimming lessons are offered in partnership with Elektrum Olympic Center on Wednesdays under a qualified coach with school staff supervising transport by bus (group size up to 15). Swimming is currently suspended. Ballroom dancing supports fitness and coordination. Mindfulness for children aims to develop attention and emotional regulation through mindful exercises.
Located in Riga, Lycée Français International Jules Verne de Riga delivers the French national education system within the AEFE network since 2011. It serves ages 2 to 17 across two sites, with a daycare service. It operates in a multilingual environment with six languages taught and supports non-French-speaking pupils through FLE and FLSCO to reach fluency by the end of primary. The curriculum follows cycles from pre-elementary through high school, leading to the Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat (Seconde, Première, Terminale) with core subjects and chosen specialties in Première and Terminale; it also offers the Diplôme National du Brevet, DELF and Cambridge exams. Established in 2007 by the French Embassy, it is managed by APECEF and monitored annually by AEFE inspectors. Facilities include two sites and a daycare service; sports facilities with team sports; swimming via Elektrum Olympic Centre (currently suspended). Extracurriculars cover sports, arts, robotics, languages, and theatre. The choir participates in Latvia's Song and Dance Celebrations, reflecting the school's intercultural education and emphasis on 21st-century skills.
