Lycée International Français de Vilnius is a private, non-profit school managed by the Parents' Association of LIFV (APELIFV) and affiliated with the AEFE network. Instruction is primarily in French and the curriculum follows the French Ministry of National Education, with Lithuanian language taught from preschool through high school to support integration into the local system. The school serves about 600 students from more than 20 nationalities across two Vilnius campuses, Šilo and Subačiaus, from preschool to lycée, with seven languages taught. Facilities include modern classrooms, a science laboratory, a knowledge and culture centre (library), a multipurpose room, a dining hall, and dedicated spaces for group work and student leisure. Plans include a gymnasium over 700 m2 and the adaptation of another site into a dance and gym room; transport to sports complexes via annual bus. After-school care and a leisure centre operate on both campuses, extending activities to 400 students.

Students prepare for higher education through the French Baccalaureate, and there is an exchange project with the University of Bordeaux IV (Law) in Vilnius for terminale students.

Workshops on emotions for CM1 and CM2 strengthen self-esteem and help students understand and manage their feelings. Psychosocial skills such as emotional regulation and empathy are central to well-being and learning. LIFV follows an inclusive approach from early years. In Nursery, vulnerabilities are identified early and addressed with Lithuanian partner services and the school's health department. The school provides targeted support for learners with difficulties or health needs; the Vie Scolaire team coordinates pupil welfare and health-related themes in collaboration with the school nurse and, where available, the psychologist.
English instruction begins at age five. The school also offers language studies in German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Lithuanian, supporting multilingual education and language development across the curriculum.
The Well-Being Week places psychosocial skills at the center of student development, focusing on emotional regulation, self-esteem, and peer relationships. LIFV nurses implement psychosocial skills programs to maintain a positive school climate and promote student well-being and success. The Vie Scolaire team collaborates with health staff to address pupils' health and welfare needs, reinforcing a caring school environment.
Safeguarding at LIFV is integrated into pupil welfare through coordinated support from the Vie Scolaire team, the school nurse, and the psychologist. The nursery identifies vulnerabilities early and works with health services to protect and support pupils. The school adheres to data protection policies to safeguard personal information related to students and families.
