Uniform Requirement

The school uniform is compulsory for all students. Students must arrive at school in uniform every day, and PE uniforms are worn on PE days. The Headteacher provides guidance on seasonal uniforms, with summer and winter uniforms worn according to the weather.

Food Options

Catering is provided on site by Thomas Franks Europe. The school provides a morning snack and lunch for every child; Nursery to Year 2 also have an afternoon snack. Menus are published for term weeks.

House System

There are four Houses: Shackleton, Franklin, Eliot and Turing. The House System promotes identity, teamwork and leadership; each House is run by a House Leader and supports a local charity for the academic year. A House Cup is awarded at Prize Giving.

Governance and Ownership

The Governing Body is The Schools Trust (TST), a UK registered non-profit. The British School of Vilnius is chartered by The Schools Trust to govern member schools through the TST Charter. The Governing Body comprises a Chairman and Trustees; the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team manage day-to-day operations.
