École internationale Gaston Thorn is a public European School in Luxembourg City, welcoming students aged 6 to 18. Opened in 2022, it operates on two campuses: the primary site at 23, Rue Verte in Cessange and the Geesseknäppchen campus in Merl (shared with ENAD). The school delivers a European School curriculum with language sections in francophone, anglophone and germanophone streams, preparing students for the Baccalaureate after seven years of secondary study. The primary program is complemented by middle and upper primary levels and flexible language learning to reflect Luxembourg's diverse population. Facilities include a dedicated primary campus, a library with librarian support, a sports hall for indoor activities, and Foyer Scolaire for lunch and after-school care. Extra tutoring, targeted learning support, and a School Inclusion Commission coordinate support. The school hosts UNESCO status, a partnership with Music Conservatory Luxembourg, First Lego League, Europe Club debates, and transport service for students.
