How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

St George's welcomes new families and students throughout the academic year, space permitting. An Admissions meeting and school tour with the Admissions Officer Kerry Tranter is advised before applying. The school is inclusive; academic ability is only one factor in placing students. Secondary applicants attend a mandatory visit to class and complete literacy, numeracy and languages assessments to join an appropriate teaching group. Primary applicants attend a mandatory two-day class visit and sample daily life; no English test is required. From age 5, basic English with literacy and numeracy skills is helpful; English is not required to enroll. Prospective students are invited for one or two taster days in the relevant year group. Admissions steps: 1. contact Kerry to arrange a tour; 2) submit an application with €750 per child and the following documents: a completed and signed application form, current school reports, any relevant reports for special educational needs, and a copy of the applicant's passport; 3) application is acknowledged and status updated; 4) the child is invited for a taster day or assessment/interview depending on age. The school has an inclusive, international community of over 850 students aged 3 to 18+ years.
