Vauban is a modern, multicultural campus serving students from age 3 to the baccalaureate. It is homologated by the French state and part of the AEFE network, ensuring education aligned with French standards while integrating innovative teaching methods. The campus provides spaces for work and relaxation, including a silent study room and a Makerspace technology fabrication laboratory, as well as the Mandela space cafeteria and the collège foyer. The school offers a canteen and a cafeteria for meals, with menus published for students. A virtual tour of the campus is available online for prospective families. The school is located in the Cloche d'Or district, south of Luxembourg.
The Vauban sports association offers a wide range of activities for middle and high school students, including climbing, boxing, table tennis, team sports, badminton, and dance. The EPS team provides these activities to both collégiens and lycéens. The association also gives students the chance to get involved in organizing the activities and to participate in external competitions in Luxembourg and neighboring countries. The program is designed to engage students in regular sports activities across grade levels.
Spaces for work and relaxation include Mandela Space (lycée cafeteria), the collège foyer, a silent study room, and a Makerspace laboratory for technology fabrication. These spaces are designed to support student life, projects and personal development. The Makerspace provides hands-on technology fabrication resources to aid in learning and project work. The campus fosters dedicated spaces for study and collaboration to support academic activities.
The extracurricular program at Vauban includes more than 50 pedagogical projects and 70 field trips each year. The clubs at the collège and lycée cover arts-plastiques, watercolor, choir, piano, guitar, pop art club, theatre, calligraphy, and wellbeing workshops such as sophrologie, art-thérapie, meditation and relaxation. There are math and science clubs and activities including MATh.en.JEANS, green chemistry, robotics, and sciences in Mandarin. There are clubs for debate, exchanges and discussions, a web journal Alèthéïa, and other world-opening activities like ecology and Model United Nations. The sports association offers a broad sports program and opportunities to compete externally in Luxembourg and the region.
