The International School of Kuantan (ISK) is located at Jalan IM7/9, Bandar Indera Mahkota, 25200 Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. ISK is the first and only fully accredited international school in the East Coast of Malaysia. The school uses English as the medium of instruction. ISK holds accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and its American High School Diploma is recognized via Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) equivalence; it is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS).
The school operates a middle and high school program with a broad range of academic and arts courses, plus physical education and athletic activities as part of a well-rounded curriculum.
ISK offers an IPC-based elementary program for kindergarten to Grade 5 and an American-based curriculum for Grades 6–12, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses in high school and college-preparatory assessments such as PSAT and SAT. MAP Growth is used to measure student progress three times per year.
IS K supports a range of arts, athletics, and language offerings across its elementary, middle, and high school programs, including AP courses, foreign language studies, and a variety of science and humanities electives.
Founded in 1996, ISK is a private international school located in Kuantan, Pahang. It offers education from kindergarten through high school, following an American-based curriculum. ISK's curriculum is modeled on the curricula and practices of public and private schools in the United States. English is the medium of instruction, and the school prepares students for university admission. The school boasts modern facilities, including air-conditioned classrooms, science laboratories, an ICT lab, a library, a music room, and a multipurpose hall.
