History

The International School of Kuantan (ISK) was founded in 1996 to serve both local and expatriate families on Malaysia’s east coast. Initially starting with just 16 students, the school has grown into a full Kindergarten to Grade 12 institution. It follows an American-based curriculum and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). ISK is also a member of EARCOS and has a strong track record of university placements worldwide.






Community

ISK boasts a diverse international community, celebrating various cultures through events like charity bazaars and open days. These events foster cultural understanding and community engagement.

Founded in 1996, ISK is a private international school located in Kuantan, Pahang. It offers education from kindergarten through high school, following an American-based curriculum. ISK's curriculum is modeled on the curricula and practices of public and private schools in the United States. English is the medium of instruction, and the school prepares students for university admission. The school boasts modern facilities, including air-conditioned classrooms, science laboratories, an ICT lab, a library, a music room, and a multipurpose hall. The campus also features outdoor sports facilities such as futsal, volleyball, netball, and tennis courts.
