1. Begin by completing the online enquiry form or visiting the PeiKen Mandarin-English Preschool, Puchong campus to experience the environment firsthand. A Beaconhouse admissions representative will then contact families to guide them through the next steps. Prospective parents can also arrange a private campus visit if preferred. The goal is to learn about the program and facilities before deciding on next steps.
2. Registration is offered year round. The Academic Year runs from January to November. A Registration Fee and a refundable Security Deposit apply to all registrations. An advance payment of two months' school fees is required at registration, and monthly fees are due in the first week of each following month. There are no annual charges or readmission fees.
3. Entrance assessment and interview form part of the admissions process. The assessment lasts about three hours and can be scheduled Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, or on Saturdays between 8:00 am and 9:30 am. After the assessment, the Head of School conducts an interview with both the child and the parents. The outcome is communicated after review, and an offer is issued if placement is available and the family wishes to proceed.
4. Registration requirements come into effect upon acceptance. Families must complete and submit the registration form along with documents: two passport-sized photographs of the child, passport-sized photographs of both parents, a copy of the child's birth certificate, copies of the parents' identity documents, and any other relevant certificates. Payment of the Registration Fee, Deposit, and School Fees is required at this time.
5. Class age and enrollment: Preschool age groups include Play Group (18 months to 3+ years), Pre-Nursery (4 years), Nursery (5 years), and Kindergarten (6 years). Admissions are open throughout the year, subject to availability of places. If a place is offered and accepted, enrollment arrangements will be initiated by the admissions team.
