Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

Peninsula International School Australia offers education from Early Years up to Pre-University. The Australia-Victorian Curriculum is used, and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is available. The curriculum is delivered through a partnership with Peninsula Grammar of Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia, which provides academic support, course structure and materials, along with training and mentoring for teachers. The school opened in Setia Alam, Malaysia in January 2018, serving students aged 4-18.

Arts and Creative

The Peninsula Experience provides facilities for music and drama as part of the Performing and Visual Arts Programme. The campus includes Music Rooms, Art and Design spaces, and an auditorium to support arts activities. A 500-seat auditorium enables performances and cultural initiatives, and dedicated spaces support the performing and visual arts curriculum.

Cultural and Language

Co-curricular activities include opportunities related to Chinese language proficiency, such as the HSk Chinese Proficiency Test and Youth Chinese Test. These language-focused assessments are part of the school's co-curricular programme.

Social and Hobbies

Co-curricular Activities cover sports, performing arts, discussions, music and other extension programmes beyond the classroom. The programme aims to identify students with a wide range of interests and develop learning experiences through extension and enrichment activities. Students interact across year levels to build school spirit.

Community and Service

Pastoral Care promotes well-being, student voice and resilience, with initiatives such as School Council, Positive Psychology, Well Being and PSHE education. Life Skills (PHSE) is a separate subject and part of the Well Being/Pastoral programme delivered across all year groups. The Peninsula Experience emphasizes building community spirit through house systems and cross-year interaction.

Leadership and Professional

The school uses a House system to provide student identity and leadership opportunities. The House names reflect partnerships with Peninsula Grammar and are used to foster leadership and cross-year activities. Leadership development is reinforced by School Council and wellbeing programmes that cultivate leadership skills.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Pastoral Care centers on well-being and resilience, with PSHE education integrated across year groups. The school maintains 24-hour security and on-site nursing, ensuring student safety and welfare.
