Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Schedule a Campus Tour. A campus tour provides an opportunity for students and families to learn more about the school's philosophy, curriculum, and academic structure. This visit is a requirement in Rocklin's admissions procedure.

2. Complete Assessment. Rocklin aims to place children in the appropriate year group based on their age and proficiency in English and Mathematics. Students from Pre-Kindergarten up to Grade 8 are required to undertake an entry-level assessment, while students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 need to provide academic transcripts from previous schools. An admissions interview with the principal may also be requested.

3. Submit Application Forms. Parents or legal guardians will receive application forms that must be completed in full and submitted with all supporting documents to the admissions office. Required documents include student and parent photographs, birth certificates, passports and visas, vaccination records, and academic transcripts. A specialist report is also required for students with special needs.

4. Probationary Period (Optional). Some students may be offered a probationary period for one academic semester. This allows the Academic and Learning Support team to determine if the student can benefit from Rocklin's learning environment. If permanent placement is offered after this period, the student deposit becomes due.
