The Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School campus is located in Calebasse, Mauritius on a learning site that is adjacent to a natural forest and a river. In 2017 Lighthouse inaugurated its learning campus to bring pre-primary through secondary learners onto one site, designed as a learning neighbourhood with educational, social, and working-life functions. The outdoor education programme uses the forest and surrounding green spaces to support exploration, growth, and community-building. Daily meals are freshly prepared for students. Lighthouse is fully registered with the Mauritian Ministry of Education and holds international affiliations with the International Primary Curriculum and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
The school exposes students to various sport and cultural activities throughout the week.
The Primary curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum and integrated with the International Primary Curriculum. English is the first language and French is taught as an additional language. In Pre-Primary, the school provides SEN support including Occupational Therapy, Language and Numeracy Support, and Counseling. The school is fully registered with the Ministry of Education of Mauritius for pre-primary, primary and secondary. Affiliations include IPC and ACSI; it hosts Cambridge International Examinations as a centre and is a candidate for dual accreditation with the Mauritius Standards and Assessment Authority (MSA); it also serves as a Centre for College Board invigilation.
