Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School is a community-minded Christian school that educates students to discover their identity and purpose. It aims to stimulate a passion for learning, creativity and community service, undergirded by a high moral standard. It is affiliated with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), is an ACSI-accredited school (2025), and operates as an approved Cambridge International Examinations centre and an invigilation centre for the SAT. It is fully registered with the Mauritius Ministry of Education and participates in the African Leadership Network and the Child Safety Protection Network.
Situated in Calebasse, Mauritius, Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School is a private day school with a Christian worldview that emphasises experiential learning. The primary program follows the British National Curriculum integrated with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). English is the first language; French is taught as an additional language. IPC thematic units guide Science, Geography, History, Art, Music and Physical Education. The secondary program uses Cambridge Lower Secondary before transitioning to Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Levels. The school offers a pathway with 11 subjects in grades 7–9, eight examinable subjects in grades 10–11, narrowing to four subjects in grades 12–13.
