Academic and Intellectual

The Model United Nations Club is led by Mr. Vencatapillay, an English teacher, and trains students in diplomacy and public speaking. Students take roles as ambassadors to address current issues and regularly debate in English to develop global citizenship. The Science Club brings together students to discuss scientific advances and undertake innovative projects, including participation in Science Quest. The Robotics Club introduces robotics and programming, with Python integrated into Mathematics or NSI, and runs workshops to encourage NSI as a first‑choice specialty.

Arts and Creative

Music Club, Arts Libres, Mode et Beaux Arts, Danse, and Théâtre offer opportunities to perform, create, and express. The Music Club provides a space for beginners in music, singing, and dance, with performances at events such as American Week and Valentine's Day. The Arts Libres Club highlights diverse art forms and supports students' artistic practice. The Mode et Beaux Arts Club covers fashion, painting, drawing, and photography, while Danse and Théâtre develop performance skills.

Cultural and Language

Culture Manga offers fans of manga, anime, and Japanese pop culture a space to explore and share. The Tik Tok Club creates content for the lycée's TikTok account, providing a platform for student media expression. The Plumes Club promotes reading and fosters appreciation of literature and the world around.

Social and Hobbies

The Volleyball Club provides opportunities to learn volleyball and participate in friendly matches, inter-class and inter-lycée tournaments, including the Volleyball Festival. The Jeux de Société et Échecs Club invites all students to play board games and chess, with chances to learn, improve, and compete in friendly tournaments. Community and Service

The Solidarité Club continues its collaboration with Etoile du Berger, organizing food and essential-item drives for residents of the NGO. The EFE3D – Environnement Club promotes eco-friendly actions and trains eco-delegates to raise environmental awareness and promote recycling and waste reduction. The Tutorat Club provides voluntary tutoring from terminal-year students to younger students, fostering solidarity and academic success. The Animal Action Club defends animal welfare through active involvement.

Lycée des Mascareignes (LDM) is a private secondary school in Helvetia, Saint-Pierre, Mauritius, affiliated with AEFE and operating under the French national education system abroad. It offers a bilingual French-English pathway within its French program for students aged 15–18. The curriculum combines the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) with Cambridge A Levels and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. In Seconde, students sit IGCSE English Language; in Première and Terminale they pursue the bilingual BFI, developed with the French Ministry of Education and Cambridge, which comprises 12 final exams and replaces the OIB from 2022 (first session in 2024). Class sizes are typically 15–22, with 7–9 hours per week taught in English and the remainder in French. The campus includes a CDI, science laboratories, classrooms and a cafeteria. A distinctive feature is Sport Etudes—the AEFE network's first multisport pathway—linked with Rugby Union Mauritius and the Academy of Sport. LDM also runs mobility programs (ADN-AEFE immersion) and offers English, Spanish and Mandarin.
