The school operates Primary and Secondary divisions on a single campus. The primary and secondary spaces are complemented by a Jungle Gym playground for outdoor activity. The campus features a large field used for outdoor sports and group activities. Covered outdoor spaces and shaded courtyards provide weather-friendly spaces for breaks and lessons. The buildings are modern and low-rise with large windows and landscaped courtyards, including planters and trees.

The ACE curriculum is used at Morning Star School. Students are registered with the International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE), the UK-based board serving ACE schools. Core subjects include English, Maths, Literature, Science (Biology and Physical Science), Social Studies, Word Building and Etymology, Information Technology, Biblical Survey and French. General, Intermediate or Advanced High School Certificates include electives such as General Business, Business Math, Accounting, Economics, Health, Nutrition Science, Physics, Speech, Advanced Art, Music and Auto Mechanics. The ACE curriculum is regularly revised by ICCE and other governing bodies around the world, and Morning Star uses ICCE certifications. Since 2014 the school has achieved a 100% pass rate in the annual SC exams. School leavers have gone on to various tertiary institutions in Mauritius and abroad to pursue their personal career choices.
Arts, crafts, music and drama are part of the school's daily activities. Arts, crafts, music and drama enable students to explore and express their potential. Events such as class outings, sponsored walks, fun days, and annual concerts are a regular part of school life. Sport at school includes Athletics, Swimming, Football, Touch Rugby, Handball, Ballet, Taekwondo and Badminton.
