English and French are taught as core subjects. The core subjects include English, Maths, Literature, Science, Social Studies, Word Building and Etymology, IT, Biblical Survey, and French. Morning Star uses the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum and students are registered with the International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE). The ACE curriculum is used to prepare students for Cambridge O-Level examinations.
Morning Star School is a private school in Mauritius for ages 3 to 18, offering a bespoke curriculum within Cambridge (Secondary) framework. The ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum is used, with students registered with the International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE). Core subjects include English, Maths, Literature, Science (Biology, Physical Science), Social Studies, Word Building and Etymology, IT, Biblical Survey and French; electives cover General, Intermediate or Advanced High School Certificates such as Business, Economics, Health, Physics, Art, Music and Auto Mechanics. Students learn at an individual pace in learning centres of up to 18, with a teacher–learner ratio of 1:9. Morning Star has primary and secondary divisions on a single campus, including Jungle Gym, field, covered outdoor spaces and landscaped courtyards. Since 2014 school reports a 100% pass rate in SC exams, and leavers pursue tertiary studies in Mauritius or abroad. Extracurriculars include arts, crafts, music, drama, and sports opportunities.
