The school is located at B79, Gros Bois Road, Mare d'Albert, Mauritius. First aid trained staff are on campus at all times, and a dedicated school nurse is planned for the future. There is no on-site canteen; students bring their own snacks and lunches, and junk food and fizzy drinks are not allowed. Clear and regular communication keeps families connected through weekly learning menus and Class Dojo; parental involvement is encouraged through events and field trips.
Sport is an essential part of student life. Weekly PE lessons and House competitions encourage fitness and teamwork, and the annual Sports Day is a highlight. Students are assigned to a House color—Red Cardinals, Blue Marlins, Yellow Geckos, or Green Parakeets—creating a sense of team identity for sports and shared activities. The curriculum includes net games such as basketball, netball, and football, along with swimming, athletics, and other activities.
English is the language of learning and communication in all classes; French is integrated, and all children are expected to become proficient in French. Pre-primary Years 3 to 5 follow the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) with Learning Centers and four core learning strands, with units that begin with an Entry Point and finish with an Exit Point. Primary Years 1 to 6 follow The International Primary Curriculum (IPC), a thematic, enquiry-based curriculum organized into Mileposts and covering Science, Geography, History, ICT & Computing, Music, Art, Physical Education, Society/Community and Design Technology. ICT, Music, Art & Drama support learning with a focus on digital literacy, creativity, and expressive arts.
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) extend learning beyond the classroom. ECAs are run by trusted external coaches and take place from 14:30 to 15:30. Options vary each term depending on interest and availability. Activities have included football, aerial acrobatics, drama, athletics, and more, with younger Early Years students typically not participating due to a full school day. Families sign up directly with providers, and fees are set and collected by the providers.
