Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Founded in 1999 as Tiny Tots Day Care Centre, the school began as a nursery and pre‑primary program. In 2007 it evolved into Telfair International Primary School, serving children up to 12 years old. The curriculum expansion included a lower secondary school and The Bridge, a bridging and learning‑support program. The academy operates as an international private English‑medium school in Mauritius following the British curriculum.

Community

The school describes its community as a melting pot of Mauritians, foreigners, and expatriates. The diversity is valued and cultures and religions are respected to foster a sense of belonging. The school emphasizes celebrating achievements and developing a growth mindset, supported by a low student‑to‑teacher ratio that enables personalized attention.
