External ECAs are offered after school on Mondays and Fridays from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m., and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., run by external providers. Places for ECA choices are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. These ECAs are separate from UBAC sports practices and BSU representative teams, which are run by BSU staff. An additional BSU bus is provided for students attending ECAs after school, with fixed stops; priority is given to students already on the BSU school bus, and a fee applies for the ECA bus if the student is not on the regular route.
The school runs UBAC sports practices and BSU representative teams, managed exclusively by BSU staff.
