Escola Portuguesa de Moçambique – CELP is a public Portuguese state school in Maputo, operating within Portugal's education system. It offers pre-school through 12th grade and hosts a Center for Training and Diffusion of the Portuguese Language plus a Center for Educational Resources. The school functions under the Portugal–Moçambique agreement and provides four scientific‑humanistic tracks in secondary education, together with a Professional Tourism Technician course. Curricular enrichment and extracurricular and sports activities reflect its motto: cooperation, effort and innovation, with emphasis on inclusion. The Maputo campus, expanded Beira Polo, includes a library with an OPAC catalogue, a dining hall and administrative offices; psychology and orientation services, health support, and specialist assistance; a Center for Teacher Training and a resource center; and Desporto Escolar offering basketball, futsal and volleyball. Notable projects include Hands‑on Science, Mabuko ya Hina, EPM Meteorology, National Plan for the Arts, language and cultural activities, and student publications.
