BNKS provides guidance counseling for college-bound students. A Board of Counselors oversees the service. Acharya, Head of Choyu House; Mr. Khadananda Bhusal, Head of Gaurishanker House; and Mrs. Sonee Shrestha, Head of Ratnachuli House; Advisor: N P Sharma, Principal. Services include advising on course selection, test preparation and registration, college planning and applications, and providing recommendations and official documents to colleges. The school's CEEB/ACT code is 689070. Guidance Counseling began informally in 1987 and was formalized in 2005 with a centralized Board of Counselors.
