Avondale College sits on a redeveloped campus in Avondale, Auckland, with a long history dating to 1945 and modern facilities designed for contemporary learning. The curriculum offers two senior pathways: NZQA NCEA and Cambridge International CAIE, with a Junior School (Year 9 and Year 10) and a Senior School (Year 11–13). ESOL Immersion and Learning Support assist new arrivals to New Zealand. The Dual Pathway enables progression to university entrance, including University Entrance in 2027. The 2027 Academic Programme details courses across English, Mathematics, Science, Arts, Languages, Social Science and Technology. Notable facilities include a multi-million-dollar rebuild (2014) and an on-campus Early Childhood Education Centre (since 1996), plus a Specialist Performing Arts Centre, a stadium, netball/tennis surface, hockey turf and a library with extensive digital resources. The school hosts strong international support, a dedicated International Student Department, and a growing emphasis on computing with recognition in New Zealand qualifications globally.
