- Epsom House (boarding) fees are payable in advance and instalments must be paid on the dates set out in the Epsom House fee schedule; the Epsom House contract states that failure to pay fees by the due date may lead to forfeiture of the boarder's place after 14 days' written notice. Interest and debt-collection costs apply to overdue fees (example interest rate published in the Epsom House contract: 5.9% p.a., plus collection costs). One invoice per family is issued and parents/guardians are jointly and severally liable for fees.
- Homestay fees are typically calculated weekly; homestay refunds for unused weeks are handled according to the homestay contract and published refund rules (see refund section below).

Refund information (international students and boarding/homestay)

- Failure to obtain an appropriate study visa: a full refund of tuition is available less an administration fee of NZD 1,500.
- Voluntary withdrawal before the enrolment start date: full refund of tuition less the administration fee of NZD 1,500. After the course start date, no refund of tuition is normally made except in exceptional circumstances (for example, serious medical conditions supported by evidence). The Board may deduct administration and costs already incurred when calculating refunds. Administration, insurance and homestay placement fees are non-refundable after the student has started their course.
- Homestay refunds: unused homestay fees will be refunded less the school's notice-period fee of two weeks if withdrawal occurs after the start date; if homestay is cancelled before occupancy, homestay fees are refundable in full. Unused homestay funds not claimed after repeated contact attempts may be retained after a defined period.
- Epsom House (boarding) refunds: where a student moves out of Epsom House before the end of their contract, the Epsom House contract states that no refund of boarding fees will be granted unless explicitly provided for in the contract terms. The Epsom House acceptance contract also states that fees for the full year remain payable despite non-attendance, withdrawal or expulsion unless specific refund rules apply.

Fee payment options and practical payment channels

- Parent Portal (school financial portal / KAMAR Parent Portal) is used to view and pay voluntary and required school payments (excludes stationery and uniforms which are handled separately through the uniform shop). Guidance and finance enquiries are handled by the school Finance Office.
- Uniform & stationery shop (on-campus) accepts cash, eftpos and credit card for purchases made at the shop.
- Epsom House application materials indicate that internet banking is an accepted payment method for application/administration fees; the Epsom House contract sets instalment dates and requires payment by the due dates. The school provides finance contacts (receivables@eggs.school.nz) for payment queries and payment arrangements.

Notes on variable items and where fees may be added

- Certain programmes (for example, the Academic Learning Development Programme), subject-specific charges, trips, elective activities, and stationery purchases incur additional fees. NCEA and scholarship exam costs are charged separately. Parents should expect separate invoices for these items when they apply.
