Governance and Ownership

The school is a charter school providing fees-free education for students in Years 7–13.
Fees
Application fees

- There is no application fee. Enrolment begins with a free Registration of Interest and proceeds to a New Student Consultation and enrolment documents when a place is available.

Tuition fees (by year group / per term / per year)

- North West College is a tuition-free charter school for Years 7–13. There are no tuition charges per term or per year for any year group.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Because the school charges no tuition, there is no regular tuition billing schedule or termly tuition invoice for Years 7–13. Any optional or one-off charges (for example: extracurricular trips, activity costs, or other discretionary charges) are not published as a standard tuition billing schedule and would be billed separately if they apply. This statement that no regular tuition billing exists is based on the school's charter-school status and published enrolment/terms material.

Boarding fees (if applicable)

- North West College operates as day campuses in Henderson and does not provide boarding or residential accommodation; therefore there are no boarding fees.

Other costs and fees (uniform, transport, activities, supplies)

- Uniform: Students are asked to wear black bottoms (trousers, skirts, or shorts) with a royal blue top. The royal blue top is sourced from a specified stockist (AS Colour), which means families are expected to purchase those required clothing items. No school-wide uniform levy or compulsory uniform fee is published.

- Transport: The school arranges its own buses from Waimauku, Kumeu, Huapai and Riverhead. No published bus fare schedule or compulsory transport charge is listed as part of the standard tuition; any bus fares (if charged) are not published with a regular billing schedule.

- Creative programmes, trips and materials: The curriculum includes a range of creative-arts and sport activities. Costs for specific trips, external certifications, course materials, or optional activities are not listed as standard tuition items; such charges, if any, would be additional and invoiced separately.

Refund information

- Because there is no tuition to refund for standard Years 7–13 enrolment, there is no published standard tuition refund policy. For any optional paid items (for example, paid trips or materials) no specific refund terms are published in the school's publicly available enrolment/terms material.

Fee payment options

- No standard tuition payment methods are published (there is no routine tuition billing). Contact details for the school's office are provided for administration and any transactional arrangements: phone and email contact are published for the administration team. Specific payment methods for any optional charges (credit card, bank transfer, direct debit, etc.) are not published in the enrolment or terms material.

Brief summary of what is and is not published

- Published and confirmed: North West College is a fees-free charter school for Years 7–13; there is no application fee; no boarding provision; a stated expectation for black bottoms and a royal blue top from a specified stockist; the school arranges buses from named areas.

- Not published (no public fee figures or schedules found): There is no published schedule of optional charges (for example bus fares, trip costs, materials or activity fees), no published payment-method list for such charges, and no published refund policy for optional paid items. These details are not provided in the school's publicly available enrolment and terms material.

Admissions

Admissions

Step 1 – Register your interest. Every enrolment starts with a Registration of Interest. A Registration of Interest is not an enrolment and does not guarantee a place. Registrations are sorted by intended year level and start year; when a place becomes available, families are contacted in the order their registration was received. If registering for a future year, the details stay on file until a place comes up for the intake. Note on high-demand intake: Year 9 enrolments are currently closed for upcoming intakes; all available Year 9 places have been filled and a substantial waitlist exists for future years.
Step 2 – New Student Consultation. When a place is available for a child's intake, Monique will contact you to arrange a New Student Consultation. The consultation is not a test or interview. It explains how the school works, learns about your child's learning needs and interests, including the Creative Arts they'd like to try, and discusses expectations for attendance and behaviour. Consultations run Monday to Thursday, 10am to 12pm.
Step 3 – Enrolment documents. After the consultation, if enrolment is desired, Monique will send you the enrolment documents. There is no further assessment or selection. The completed documents and any supporting information should be returned within the timeframe given. Enrolment is complete once the school receives them.
Step 4 – Early Enrolments. North West College accepts enrolment applications up to one year before the intended start date. If your child is further than one year away from starting, you are welcome to register your interest and we will be in touch when enrolments open for the relevant intake year.

Waitlist

Waitlist: If a place is not currently available, families are advised and their child is added to the waitlist. The waitlist order follows the sequence of registrations and enrolment processing. Year 9 enrolments are currently closed due to high demand; all available Year 9 places have been filled and a substantial waitlist exists for future intake years. The school will contact families on the waitlist as space becomes available.
