Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Al Injaz International Private School was established in 2004 as a Kindergarten at Al Khuwair. It gradually expanded by adding one class each year to evolve into a full secondary school. In 2012, the school moved to its own premises at Al Ansab and now serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Levels) and a bilingual system with the Ministry of Education of Oman underpin the curriculum, complemented by a broad range of sports and co-curricular activities to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and responsible young citizens. The school also operates a Section for Special Needs with a multi-disciplinary team, including on-site therapists, who work with families to support development and partial integration with mainstream classes.
The school community is engaged through ongoing participation by students, parents, and staff in activities designed to build a strong school culture. In 2017, Al Injaz hosted the Arabic Poetry Competition drawing participation from ten private schools in Muscat. Al Injaz also participates in international competitions, with teams representing Oman in events such as the Europe Cup in Verona, Italy, where the Under-16 team reached the final four. Parental involvement is encouraged through regular parent–teacher meetings and family events such as Pink Colour Day, Occupation Day, and storytelling sessions that bring families into the learning process.
Al Injaz maintains a Parent Committee (a PTA-like body) comprising 15 members drawn from the current year's parent community. The committee acts as a liaison between the school management and parents on matters of concern. Committee members meet regularly with school representatives to discuss student welfare, school development, and community initiatives for the benefit of the students, the school, and the wider community. The committee supports the school's development by contributing to strategic discussions and helping plan and coordinate initiatives. Parental involvement is reinforced through structured channels, including ongoing parent engagement in school life through meetings and participation in events that support student learning and well-being.
