English is the language of instruction and the English National Curriculum is followed. The school delivers English-language teaching; Arabic and French are taught as languages. In Year 3-4, specialist lessons include French, and Arabic is introduced; in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5-6), Arabic and French are taught by specialists. The school provides English language development and EAL support for students learning English as an additional language.
Children who are new to English at admission are immersed in English throughout their day. Learning Support provides targeted English language development and additional support as needed. Staff are experienced in supporting multilingual learners within an international context.
