Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Step 1 — Book an Assessment. Schedule your child's assessment at Finland Oman School and bring the required documents: end-of-year report, birth certificate, passport, photos, and vaccination card. Assessments are valid for 90 days to be considered for registration. An assessment fee of 30 OMR applies at the time of assessment. Spaces are limited in some year groups, so start the admissions process early.
Step 2 — Receive Acceptance. After the assessment, you will receive an acceptance letter. The acceptance letter confirms eligibility to enroll and initiates enrollment steps.
Step 3 — Confirm & Register. Sign the acceptance letter and complete the registration process to secure the seat. The seat must be confirmed within 10 working days after receiving the acceptance letter. A 30 OMR assessment fee and a 300 OMR registration fee apply; the assessment fee is paid at assessment and the registration fee is paid before the academic year begins. Overseas grade levels are determined by the MOE Certificate Equivalency Department, and MOE Portal places overseas students by grade. Tuition and transport fees vary by grade; Sibling discounts apply (5% for the second child and 10% for the third child).
