1. Initiate Online Application. Applications are accepted throughout the year, and you should start by submitting an online application through the school's online application portal. The admissions staff are available to guide you through the process and support a smooth transition into Pakistan School Muscat's network. This first step sets the foundation for eligibility checks and the subsequent steps in the admission journey.

2. Compile and submit required documents. Prepare the documents listed in the admission requirements: School Leaving Certificate for class II and above; Character Certificate; Birth Certificate for KG; passport copies of the student and both parents/guardians (with valid visa pages, two copies where required); copies of resident cards for student and parents/guardians (two copies); six recent passport-size photographs; immunization certificate; and any additional documents requested by the admissions team. Ensure all documents are complete and organized before submission to avoid delays. The process expects two copies for some documents and requires presentation of identity and residency proofs.

3. Admission test and interview. The suitability of a student for a given class is determined through an admission test, and the student will be tested in English, Mathematics, Science and Urdu. A personal interview with the student and parents/guardians is conducted with the relevant coordinator or admissions staff as part of the evaluation. The school leaving certificate from another institution does not guarantee admission to the class reflected on that certificate. The test syllabus can be obtained from the Academic Cell or the school office.

4. Post-test steps and fee arrangements. After qualifying in the admission test, parents/guardians fill the proper admission form and complete the remaining formalities. The first fee slip includes charges for the admission fee and one month's tuition fee plus other incidental charges (a security deposit may be charged and is refundable at withdrawal). The school operates as an English-medium institution, so a workable knowledge of English is required. For KG-I, the minimum age is 4 years.

5. Grade-specific eligibility and admission criteria. For admission to Class I–VIII, applicants must obtain at least 40% marks in English, Mathematics and Urdu on the admission test. CLSP admissions require a minimum of 60% in the admission test to join. For Class IX, Science Group requires at least 60% in VIII; those scoring below 60% may be offered Arts. For O' Level Class, a minimum 60% is required to join O'Level classes. For Class XI, applicants with above 60% in SSC are eligible for Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering; Commerce and General Science Groups require at least 50% overall and 50% in Mathematics, while those scoring below 50% may join Humanities. For A' Level, admission is subject to passing at least five O'Level subjects with a minimum C grade.

6. Migration, transfer and re-admission. A student migrating from a Pakistani school/college in the case of Board classes may not need to take an admission test, but a Migration Certificate/NOC from the concerned Board is required. A School Leaving Certificate, Registration Card copy and Character Certificate should be submitted for class IX or higher, with certificates showing passing of the previous class issued by the relevant Board also attached. A student who fails the annual house examination shall seek re-admission in the same class.
